what you don't see in the mirror. before a klay hijab ever touches your skin, it spends a while on a roll like this one. modal, made from beech wood, run through steam so the fabric settles and stays soft instead of stiff. then it's cut, panel by panel, and smoothed flat by hand before a single hem goes in. it's a slow way to make a hijab. we know. but it's why the fabric drapes the way it does. why it doesn't go see-through under sunlight. why it still feels the same after months of washing. none of that comes from a fancy print or a nice label. it comes from getting the fabric right first. this is our earth palette, cut in cocoa. wrap yourself in it.
