Prince Tires ad: M+S isn't a winter rating

Look on your sidewall for a small mountain with a snowflake inside it. That's the three-peak symbol, and it's the only marking that means the tire passed a real snow traction test. M+S — mud and snow — is not that. Most all-seasons carry it. It describes a tread pattern, not cold-weather grip. Go look. It's stamped right there on the rubber.
