Fresh dog food on the road sounds great in theory. In practice, the form factor can make or break it. Most fresh food options require an extra large freezer (unrealistic on the road), monthly deliveries to an address you may not be at, or you’re traveling with empty/sharp cans that smell, attract flies, and take up valuable space you don’t have. Pantry Fresh from @justfoodfordogs solved all of that for me. No refrigeration. I can carry 3+ months worth at a time. And they come packaged in boxes instead of cans—which means zero wasted space, the empties collapse flat for easy/clean storage, and they’re fully recyclable! And the food itself is made with human grade whole food ingredients, so you can see exactly what’s in every box. I’ve been so happy with this food I’ve literally designed parts of my van around it… 6.5 years in and it’s still the only fresh food that actually works with this lifestyle!
