Gobi Heat® Heated & Cooling Apparel ad: Discover The Secret of 120,000+ US Hunters

The sit that taught me this was a Tuesday in November, and I was in the stand at 5:40. First hour was fine. Second hour I was still fine, mostly, though I'd started doing the thing where you flex your toes inside your boots to check they're still there. By hour three I was gone. Not physically — I was still sitting in that tree. But I was thinking about the thermos in the truck, and whether the truck was worth the walk, and how many minutes it would take to get the heater going. I shifted my weight to get some blood back into my legs. That's when I saw him. Forty yards, quartering away, already moving because he'd heard me move first. Here's what I didn't know then: your body stops generating meaningful heat about 45 minutes into a sit. You're not getting colder because the weather changed. You're getting colder because you stopped producing heat and never started again. Everything after that — the fidgeting, the phone, the truck — is just your body negotiating. Heated gear doesn't make you tougher. It replaces the heat you stopped making, so hour three feels like hour one and you're still sitting still when something finally walks through. We wrote the whole thing up — vest versus jacket versus hoodie, honest runtimes at every setting, and the four or five things worth checking before you spend two hundred dollars on any of it. It's not a long read. It's shorter than hour three. Read the guide 👉https://gobiheat.com/blogs/news/best-heated-hunting-vest-long-sits
