Okay, I need to get this off my chest… 😤 Every time I open Facebook there’s another “overnight firming oil” that looks suspiciously like Cellu. Same amber bottle. Same “for crepey arms” line. Half the price. Zero reviews older than three weeks. 🙄 Here’s why I’m annoyed. My sister got the REAL one from getcellu.com back in August. Last Sunday we were at Mum’s for lunch, she rolled her sleeves up to do the washing up, and I actually stopped mid-sentence. Her arms. The crinkly, tissue-paper bit above the elbow that we BOTH have (thanks, genetics)… it’s just… smoother. She’s 58. I’m 54. Her arms look younger than mine. I’m not okay. 😭 I asked what she’d done and she said “nothing, just the oil before bed.” Squalane, rosehip, bakuchiol (the gentle retinol alternative), vitamin C. Pea-sized amount on each arm, goes in while she sleeps, no greasy sheets. Then she told me her neighbour bought one of the lookalikes online and it just sat on her skin like salad dressing. Smelled odd. Did nothing. Back in the drawer after a week. She showed me her photos from week 1 vs week 8 and I genuinely had to put my phone down. 😂 So yes, I’ve ordered mine. From the actual Cellu site. Not a £9 “dupe” with mystery ingredients. Has anyone else noticed all the copycats lately?? Honestly, if that many brands are trying to copy it, that tells you everything. If you’ve tried the real one, tell me how long it took for you, I’m impatient!! 👇 (My sister has now sent me three arm selfies today. I’m happy for her. I’m also furious.) 😂
