Taft Dental Supply ad: $439 driver. $15 per AOX arch.

Stop reading $439 as a price. Read it as cost per case. Ten AOX arches puts it at $44. Thirty puts it at $15. Instruments get judged on the sticker and used for years. Run the math the way you run it on a chair or a scanner and this stops being a purchase and starts being a line item that disappears. The reason it is $439 and not $600 to $800 is not the build. It is the channel. Distributor margin, catalog overhead, and rep commission sit between the factory and your operatory. We ship direct from Cincinnati and skip all three. You get 6 settings from 10 to 35 Ncm, 16 tips in long and short, a right-angle head for the distals, and a spare 135 degree autoclavable head in the box. 4.7 out of 5 across 20 reviews, 17 of them five stars. If the math does not hold up in your operatory, you have 60 days to send it back.
