Kendal Mint Co® Conquer Your Challenge ad: Fuel With Kendal Mint Co

Fueling for ultramarathons, especially unsupported ones, is no joke. You have to plan what you think you’ll eat, how you’ll feel, and what you’re willing to carry. For me, I always keep it simple and stick to what I trust. I’ve been using @kendalmintco for a while now, and I genuinely trust them and my gut. And trust me, my gut isn’t the strongest. This past year reflux has been a real struggle, knocking back my training on some days. Some nights I even had to prop myself up to sleep. So long days out? Stomach issues are my biggest weakness. Before my unsupported Bob Graham, I reached out to Jack at Kendal Mint Co. He was instantly supportive, asking what I thought I’d need. I stuck to a simple plan: two gels every hour, plus one carb drink every hour. Every now and again I swapped a gel for a homemade flapjack to give my stomach a break. The result? Until the last couple of hours of a 20+ hour day, zero stomach issues. Energy stayed high, gels went down easily, carb drinks were smooth, and my legs felt fresh. By the end, sure, fatigue set in, but that’s just the day catching up. Carrying 5kg of nutrition wasn’t easy, but these gels helped cut down weight and kept energy consistent all day. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Kendal Mint Co more. Huge thanks to Jack and the team for the support on this epic round. If you want to know more about gels, carb drinks, or nutritional info, hit them up, they’re amazing and always happy to help. Can’t wait for the next adventure, fueled and ready 💪🏔️
