I’m always looking for plants that will actually thrive in our climate, not just look pretty for a season! I LOVE that High Country Gardens has a California Perennial Collection filled with tough, waterwise plants chosen for the unique growing conditions here in the West. With our hot, dry summers, creating a beautiful low-water garden can be a challenge — so having plants that are actually suited to our climate makes it so much easier. This collection has such a fun mix, including California Narrow Leaf Milkweed, Palmer’s Penstemon, Hot Lips Salvia, Sunset Strain Lewisia, and Stardust Hummingbird Trumpet. Beautiful flowers, grasses and plants that can support pollinators while using less water? Yes please! Can’t wait to see these fill in!
