Your grandkids won't remember most of what you bought them. They'll remember what you read to them. Most of us were taught that faith gets passed down at church, from the pulpit, on Sunday. But for a lot of kids, the first time they hear about Jesus is on a grandparent's lap. Psalm 78 says it plainly: tell the next generation. It never said that job belonged only to the parents. One grandmother put it in a single line: They get Jesus when they come to grandma's house. And if they live 3 states away, a book in the mailbox still says you're praying for them.
