🌌500 Rule You can do "short-exposure astrophotography" by using three things: Very short focal lengths, very fast lenses, and very high ISO. You will be confined to expose NO more than 25s, before you get noticeable star-trailing. Then stack all the photos in DeepSkyStacker. Just be wary of noise reduction in post...stars are true point light sources, and noise reduction algorithms can eliminate stars along with noise if you are not careful. 🌌Up to Next Level? If you want to get the same crisp, clear, saturated stills of the night sky as the professional photographers, then a portable star tracker is necessary. Star tracker rotates oppositely to compensate the Earth’s self-rotation, then the stars will be tracked, and your lens will be relatively still with the stars! Low ISO, minutes exposure is applicable! 🌌How to choose the right star tracker? Price: Most of the star trackers cost around $400. Weight: Weights around 1000g and more. Size: Equals 1.5 times of Sony α7 III PROs: We can take professional night sky photos CONs: Heavy, take too much space in our already bulky gear bag! So Most of the time we would rather leave it home instead of taking it with us. 🌌We need a Real EASY TO USE Star Tracker! A Star Tracker that will not be left at home 🌌 A Quick Sheet of data Price: $209 rather than $400 Weight: 430g rather than >1000g Size: 0.4 times of Sony α7 III rather than 1.5 times of Sony α7 III ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Featured photo by️ one of our awesome users❤️🥳 — Daniel Sands @Dan Sands Photography
