WAZZE KOKUR | WAZWAN STYLE CHICKEN — my lighter take on the Wazwan-style chicken. ❤️ Traditionally deep-fried in ghee, this version gets its crisp exterior from the air fryer while keeping the chicken juicy, tender and full of Kashmiri flavours. Made in the Nester Home Cook Airfryer — from marinating to cooking, serving and reheating, all in the same bowl. This is my Kashmir, in a bowl. 🫶🏻 Available on Nesterstore.com, Amazon & Flipkart. Ingredients 500 g chicken, preferably boneless pieces 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp fennel powder ½ tsp garam masala ½ tsp black pepper powder 1/4 cup vinegar 2 tbsp oil Salt to taste 1/2 cup water, as required 3 tbsp corn flour (For dipping batter) Method Mix the ginger-garlic paste, spices, lemon juice, oil and salt to make a flavourful spice mix. Divide it into two portions. Add corn flour and a little water to one portion to make a thick dipping batter. Mix the remaining spice mixture with the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes. Cook the marinated chicken in the Nester Home Cook Airfryer until almost done and the flavours are well absorbed. Dip each piece in the corn-flour batter and air fry again until golden and crisp outside and cooked through inside. Serve hot. Tip: Traditionally, Wazze Kokur is deep-fried in ghee. This air-fried version skips the deep frying while still giving you that delicious crisp exterior. And yes—you can adjust the spices according to your taste. ❤️ Hashtags #WazzeKokur #KashmiriCuisine #Wazwan #KashmiriFood #AirfryerRecipes
